Welcome to our Designer Kennel website.   We are a small hobbyist kennel located in a very small town located in Nebraska about an hour west of Omaha.   We are Jean and Brian Flowers and we breed toy poodles, pomapoos, and occasionally Pomeranians and Chihuahuas.   We are actually in the process of developing a new breed from the original crosses of Pomeranian to poodle which we call the Petite Le Fleur.

We do not breed designer dogs.  Our kennel name was originated many years ago because we breed poodles in "designer" colors.  Our dogs are very much a part of our family and our lives revolve around them.   We want them to go to homes where they appreciate how much love and care has gone into their new puppy.  We always want forever homes for our dogs.  We are licensed by the state of NE.   Anyone that has more than 3 unspayed female dogs must be licensed by the state as breeders.

We started showing and breeding standard poodles in 1978 as a result of Jean's grooming profession.   After finishing several standard poodles, we purchased some very nice toy poodles and our first litter produced our first toy champions.   Because of their convenient size the toys eventually replaced the standards.   We did also start showing a few Pomeranians.   In 1998 an accidental breeding of a toy poodle to a Pomeranian occurred and the resulting offspring changed the course of our dog breeding and kennel goals.   We retired from the showring to work on a new breed and to concentrate on our grooming shop full time.

Together we are dedicated to the breeding of quality Toy Poodles, Pomeranians, and Pomapoos.   We also occasionally have outstanding Chihuahua puppies in the rare merle colors.   We have toy poodles in most colors except apricot and red.   Our specialties are brown, silver beige and particolors.   Our particolors are exceptional as our original particolor came from two of our champion toy poodles.   Our Pomeranians also come in exotic colors including merle.   We have very nice poms to help develop the pomapoos into the new breed (Petite Le Fleur).   Our pomapoos come in a wide range of colors including merle.

After 30 years of grooming, breeding, and showing we have an extensive knowledge of genetics, health problems, temperaments, nutritional requirements, and dog behavior.   We offer a written health guarantee with every puppy and offer a life time of support.   We offer a wide range of handouts to anyone interested in our dogs, including a 12 page puppy handout, the Petite Le Fleur standard and our health guarantee which we can email at any time.

We occasionally have very tiny older puppies available to select homes.   These dogs will weigh less than 3-4lbs full grown and will be sold to adult only homes.We also occasionally have adult spayed females available that have had puppies for us and are ready for new homes.   They are spayed, crate trained and housebroken.
